Shortly after my 49th birthday I had to admit to myself that I was not physically fit. I decided to be “fit at fifty” and reached out to Jason for help. During our first meeting Jason asked for my goals. I shared that I wanted to improve my aerobic fitness, improve my overall strength, eliminate the shoulder and neck pain I often experienced, and lose weight. Almost 3 years later I have run two half-marathons and I’m preparing for a third, I have no pain in my neck or shoulders, I can do push-ups and planks, and I’ve lost a few pounds along the way (although I have more to do on that front).
