The Importance of Resistance Training

When starting an exercise program it is wise to incorporate resistance training/ weight training into your program. Running on the treadmill or riding a bike will only get you so far. It is a complete myth that you need to lose body fat before you build muscle. You will not get bigger and fatter if you weight train properly. If you want to have tone muscles, proper body function and a lean body that will stay that way you need to weight train.
